Illustrations

“Spirits” is an on-going series of illustrations that I started in 2013 after my first encounter with wild animals in Senegal, Western Africa. The energies of these animals were so strong that I could almost see them floating around. It opened the door to the world of the invisible energies, auras and spirits.

My illustrations are mid-way between a spiritual and artistic practice. In order to create each piece, I enter a meditative state and connect with the person or the animal that I am about to work with. I feel the energies and draw in a subconscious manner, entering an artistic flow that results in these mysterious symbols and magical illustrations.
